Statewide Wrecker Service, Inc. is a Drug-Free workplace.
Prospective Employees are required to take a drug test prior to being officially hired with the company, as required by our Drug-Free Workplace Policy.
If you currently use illegal drugs or abuse legal drugs, you will not be hired.
SCOPE OF POLICY
This policy applies to all applicants and employees.
This company feels strongly that drug use in the workplace can undermine an individual's job performance, the security of employees, and the company's business.
The following is prohibited while on Company premises or while conducting Company business:
Use or having detectable level of illegal drugs in your system or abuse of any illegal drug or chemical.
Use of prescription drugs for any purpose other than as prescribed. The purchase, sale, transfer, possession, manufacture or distribution of illegal drugs or chemicals.
Engaging in any of these activities will result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
The Company reserves the right to test applicants for the evidence of drugs. Tests will screen for the presence of compounds including, but not limited to, the following:
Amphetamines, cocaine, marijuana, PCP (phencyclidine) or opiates.
Offers of employment will be made only upon passing a Urinalysis Drug Abuse Test.
A drug Screening Consent and Release Form and Notice to all job Applicants of Drug-Free Workplace Policy will be given to each applicant along with a blank application. No applicant may be considered for employment if he/she has not signed the Drug Screening Consent and Release.
